The Doro EasyPhone 623 is not a powerful phone. That's not even the point of it. But it is powerfully simple to use, which is what people are looking for if they're thinking of a phone like the PhoneEasy 623. It does come with big icons, clear navigation and an assistance button that can dial up to five numbers. All, it must be said, in a surprisingly stylish design.
It's also worth noting that this is a 3G-only phone – there isn't any 4G LTE connectivity at all. But it has been designed to work with hearing aids and the audio is louder than normal and clear.
The Doro PhoneEasy 623 doesn't have a particularly good camera, but the fact it has a camera at all is almost a little surprising. The 2-megapixel rear camera will let you take quick snaps or even short video to send as attachments in text messages.
The PhoneEasy 623 comes with a charging cradle that makes it easy to drop in the phone and charge up, which you won't need to do that often. Despite the small 800mAh battery, the simple nature of the phone means you've got 380 hours of standby time.
