The budget "a" line of Pixel phones has offered some great value in the past and the Pixel 6a doesn't look like it will be an exception. It is available in 3 colours: Chalk, Charcoal and Sage, and features a 6.1-inch OLED display.

As you might expect, there are some downgrades at play with the Pixel 6a. Refresh rate is down to 60Hz, and the rear camera is down to 12MP compared to the 50MP of the Pixel 6. However, you can enjoy the same Tensor chipset that powers the Pixel 6 Pro with the 6a, which should offer serious performance for the price.

A 4410mAh battery is a downsize not only from the Pixel 6 but from the Pixel 5a as well. However, Google claims the Pixel 6a will still offer over 24 hours of battery life. All in all, the Pixel 6a seems like a whole lot of phone for $749, and you can count us as seriously excited to try it out.

Admittedly, these new earbuds aren't exactly game-changers in the space. Google is hoping these earbuds will earn the "Pro" tag as its first pair with Active Noise Cancellation.

But this isn't regular old ANC. Google's proprietary Silent Seal innovation utilises customised hardware and software to maximise the outside noise being blocked. Without more detail or hands-on testing it's tough to say whether Google really has outdone the rest of the market, but it's an intriguing claim.

Other features of the Pixel Buds Pro include multi-point compatibility, allowing you to simultaneously connect your buds to multiple devices. This allows you to shift from different media or phone calls without needing to unpair and repair.

As for battery life, Google is claiming you can enjoy the Pixel Buds Pro for 7 hours with ANC enabled and up to 11 hours without noise cancelling. The charging case adds up to 20 hours of battery on top of that.

Google is promising a mouldable design that allows earbuds to comfortably fit and offer noise cancellation for any ear shape. And that's not to mention touch controls, allowing you to control your music without taking out your phone. As for colours, you can choose between Charcoal, Lemongrass and Fog.

If these sound like the earphones for you, grab your pre-order now.
