Amazon is knocking $50 off the entire Samsung Galaxy S22 range for Finder readers, plus a bonus Echo Show 8 valued at $199.

Samsung Galaxy S22 pre-order deal

Samsung Galaxy S22 pre-order deal

It has become a longstanding tradition for Samsung to offer a bonus pre-order gift with flagship Galaxy phones. These have ranged from the niche (virtual-reality accessories) to the exceptionally useful (wireless earbuds).

For the Galaxy S22, the company has really outdone itself with a choice of 3 different gift packs valued at up to $337. Available gifts include a travel pack for in-car charging, a wireless charger and a pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds2.

However, if you pre-order the phone from Amazon, the deal gets a lot better. In addition to the aforementioned gifts from Samsung, Amazon is throwing in a free Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen) smart speaker valued at $199 when you pre-order any Galaxy S22 model (S22, S22+ or S22 Ultra).

Picture not described

Powered by the smart assistant Alexa, the Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen) features an 8-inch HD touchscreen, stereo speakers and an in-built 13-megapixel camera that uses auto-framing to keep you centred during video calls.

In our review, we gave the Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen) a commendable 4 stars out of 5 and declared it the best Alexa-powered smart display on the market.

How to get $50 off

Now for the real showstopper: Amazon is shaving $50 off the RRP for Finder readers. This is virtually unheard of for a new flagship phone – usually buying outright requires you to eat the full price tag.

To get $50 off your pre-order, head to Amazon's S22 hub and use the coupon code FINDER50 at checkout. The deal is valid for all phones in the Samsung Galaxy S22 range – the S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra.

The offer will run from 2am AEDT 10 February to 11:59pm AEDT 3 March (Terms & Conditions apply).

Here are the steps to claim your freebies:

  1. Pre-order any model, size or colour from the Galaxy S22 series that includes the Echo Show 8 2nd Gen (Black) in an Amazon Pre-order Offer bundle.
  2. Use the code FINDER50 at checkout to get $50 off.
  3. Redeem 1 of 3 bonus gift packs from Samsung, based on your selected model (see Samsung's Terms & Conditions).

Your Galaxy S22 will be shipped from the release date (4 March 2022) while the Echo Show 8 may arrive earlier.
