Following 20 seasons of their groundbreaking reality show on E, the Kardashians are back on a different streaming platform.

When Keeping Up With The Kardashians came to a close in 2021 after 20 seasons, fans were left with a mix of sadness and hope that the family wouldn't be lost from screens for long.

Unsurprisingly, rumours started surfacing of a new show, potentially in a new home. Now the Disney-owned Hulu platform is bringing the family back in a brand new show, simply titled The Kardashians.

That's good news for Australian fans who will be able to stream the show in all its glory exclusively on Disney Plus.

Sign up to Disney+ to stream hundreds of movies and shows

Watch new and classic TV and movies from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, National Geographic and 21st Century Fox from one streaming service.

Those who follow the family will know about some of the more recent dramas, including Kim's separation from Kanye West and return to the dating scene, plus Kourtney's engagement.

Now they will get to see the drama play out in a show that started filming in 2021, although we know very little about the format at this stage.

A teaser video has dropped showing the 6 featured women, including Kim, Kris Jenner and a very pregnant Kylie.

When does The Kardashians launch in Australia?

Disney Plus has confirmed the show will debut on Thursday 14 April. Episodes will be coming out weekly.

How to watch new The Kardashians show in Australia

The only way you will be able to stream what is sure to be a massive hit in Australia is on Disney Plus. It is likely to be under the platform's adult-focused Star banner.

It would then sit alongside other titles geared towards a mature audience like Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Scandal and recent entry Pam and Tommy.

In Australia, Disney Plus costs $11.99 a month or $119.99 annually. The service doesn't offer a free trial at the moment, but you can cancel your subscription anytime.

Disney Plus has parental controls and a wide content library for kids. Recent highlights from a range of interests and genres include The Book of Boba Fett, Encanto, Eternals and Hawkeye.
