Vodafone confirms it will sell the Samsung Galaxy S10 “soon”

Vodafone customers won't have to wait long for Samsung's new premium handset.

We're a week out from the official launch date of the Samsung Galaxy S10, although allowing for that pesky international dateline, it'll actually be early on 21 February here in Australia.

Vodafone has more-or-less announced it will be offering Samsung's new flagship phone in the near future, kicking off a pre-registration "register your interest" page for the new phone. That's quite the standard tactic, and while it doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know about the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ or Galaxy S10e, it does at least confirm it will offer at least one of the new handsets.

Realistically, Samsung's Galaxy S phones are so popular in Australia that it's extremely unlikely they will land with Vodafone alone. We'd expect Telstra and Optus to offer them on day one, with most credible rumours suggesting a mid-March 2019 launch window. Vodafone of course differs by breaking out the phone handset contract from the actual service contract, allowing you to pay off a handset over 12, 24 or even 36 months.

If you're particularly keen, you can sign up over at Vodafone to express your interest now.
