Where to buy chunky combat boots (including options under $100)
Here's how you can get your hands on this season's must-have platform boots without breaking the bank.
As a connoisseur of chunky combat boots, I am thrilled to report that these bad boys are this winter's IT shoe. We've seen the likes of Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Kaia Gerber and Miley Cyrus rocking this lewk, so obviously we had to jump on board. Not only are they totally on-trend, but they're also comfortable AF and give your height a nice little boost (which is a must for this 5'1" hobbit).
Platform boots regularly come in and out of vogue, so it could be worth investing in a good quality pair. On the other hand, if you want to jump on the bandwagon without forking out the entire contents of your savings account, there are also plenty of other affordable options out there.
So with that in mind, I've rounded up a bunch of combat boots for you to peruse, so that you can rock this trend whether you want to save, spend or splash the big bucks.
(P.S. At the time of writing, a couple of these babies are on sale for even cheaper prices too!)
Save
If you know you're only going to rock this trend for a season (no judgement here), you may get better bang for your buck if you opt for a more affordable option. Luckily for you, online retailers like Princess Polly, THE ICONIC and ASOS have got you sorted for designer dupes and modestly priced trend pieces. To get you started, we've handpicked some platform kicks that retail for around $100 or less below.
Spend
If you're not one to sort your shopping list by price, ASOS, AERE and a few other online stores boast options that sit between the $100 and $200 mark (which is pretty reasonable for a leather boot).
Splash
Brands like Dr. Martens, Tony Bianco and ALIAS MAE have chunky boots runnin' through their veins, so they're some of my go-tos when I want to pick up a good quality pair of boots that are going to last for more than one winter. The price tag may be a little higher (we're talking between $250 and $700 here), but you get what you pay for and these options offer great value when you consider the cost per wear.
