But be quick, as it's only for a limited time.

Usually if you want to have both sport and entertainment options to stream, you need multiple services. Or, at the very least, one service with an add-on. You don't often get them together and free sports streaming is very rarely on the the cards.

But right now, for a limited time, you can get to stream sport and entertainment together. It's for the same price as the one option would usually cost – and all in a single package.

How do I get free sport with my entertainment streaming?

Until 31 August, Foxtel Now has a deal where you can get all its packs for only $25 a month for 3 months, when the monthly cost is usually $104. You can sign up to Foxtel Now here. You also get a 10-day free trial if you're a new customer.

Now that is a big saving on its own. But if you work it out, it turns out you're essentially getting free sports streaming.

Foxtel Now all packs $25 a month for 3 months

Not available in conjunction with any other offer. New customers start with a 10-day trial. Offer ends 31 August 2022.

Breaking it down, the base entertainment pack for Foxtel Now, the Essentials pack, is normally $25 a month. That gets you access to over 30 channels of lifestyle, drama and comedy shows. With it you can view HBO shows like House of the Dragon, drama like Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, comedies such as Reservation Dogs and Foxtel originals like The Twelve.

But with this deal, you can now essentially get free sports streaming. As you're only paying $25 for everything, you'll get sport included for what you'd normally only pay to access entertainment. That means you can watch the likes of NRL, AFL, F1, MotoGP and multiple football leagues such as the Scottish Premiership, Bundesliga, Serie A and the EFL Championship.

With Foxtel Now you have access to over 50 sports across 12 dedicated channels. They are:

  • FOX Cricket
  • FOX League
  • FOX Sports 503
  • FOX Footy
  • FOX Sports 505
  • FOX Sports 506
  • FOX Sports MORE 507
  • beIN SPORTS 1
  • beIN SPORTS 2
  • beIN SPORTS 3
  • ESPN
  • ESPN2

Couldn't I just get Kayo instead?

Yes, you can also compare this to Kayo, the standalone sports streaming service. You get the same 50 sports on Kayo as on Foxtel Now and packages start there from $25.

But again, keep in mind if you subscribe to Kayo, all you'll get is sport for that same price of $25. If you subscribe to Foxtel Now during this special deal period, you get both entertainment and sport for the same price.

This Foxtel Now deal is only for a limited time though and you'd need to sign up before 31 August.
