Succession season 4 preview

A satirical black comedy-drama, Succession has received numerous accolades since it first hit the small screen in 2018.

For its first 3 seasons, the show scored 13 Emmy wins, including 2 for Outstanding Drama.

Succession follows the ultra-rich Roy family, who owns Waystar Royco, a global media and entertainment conglomerate.

Given that patriarch Logan is close to retirement, his 4 children fight for control of the company, each hoping they'll eventually come out on top.

Season 3 ended with Roman, Shiv and Kendall banding together to stop their father from selling Waystar Royco, only for Tom to seemingly tip off Logan about their plan.

As a result, the patriarch managed to once again be a step ahead of everyone.

Per the official season 4 synopsis, the sale of the media conglomerate inches closer, which leads to more Roy familial division.

A power struggle ensues, with each sibling contemplating what their lives will look like if the sale goes through.

Everyone from the main cast will reprise their roles in the final season.

Annabeth Gish (Halt and Catch Fire), Adam Godley (The Umbrella Academy), Eili Harboe and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (Vikings: Valhalla) join the cast for its final outing.
