The Cleaning Lady follows Thony, a smart Cambodian doctor who goes to the United States hoping to secure medical treatment to save her son.

However, she is forced to make a living as a cleaning service worker when her visa expires. After witnessing a crime, Thony is offered a job within a criminal organisation and begins to live a double life.
