1. Leave The World Behind
A family's getaway to a luxurious rental home takes an ominous turn when a cyberattack knocks out their devices and 2 strangers appear at their door.
While a movie about the end of the world is nothing new, the fact you can’t see it and know very little of what’s going on makes this very taut and tense. It’s a small but A-list cast, who deliver haunting performances.
2. Mank
1930s Hollywood is re-evaluated through the eyes of scathing wit and alcoholic screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz as he races to finish Citizen Kane.
If you love Hollywood's Golden Age and films about films, Mank is a must-watch.
3. The Trial of the Chicago 7
The Trial of the Chicago 7 tells the real story of the people who were put on trial following the uprising at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. What was supposed to be a peaceful protest turned into a violent clash with the police. What followed was one of the most notorious trials in history.
The Trial of the Chicago 7 is ambitious and thought-provoking, plus add in an excellent cast and you've got yourself a crowd-pleaser.
4. Society of the Snow
The flight of a rugby team crashes on a glacier in the Andes. The few passengers who survive the crash find themselves in one of the world's toughest environments to survive.

5. The Old Guard
4 undying warriors who've secretly protected humanity for centuries become targeted for their mysterious powers just as they discover a new immortal.
The intriguing premise behind this sophisticated superhero film is one that pushes the genre forward while also sticking to convention long enough to satisfy diehard fans. It will only leave you wanting more.
6. Moneyball

The general manager of the Oakland As joins forces with a Yale graduate to challenge the old-school selection methods and reinvent his baseball team with the help of a statistical analysis model that has never been used before.
A top-notch biographical drama, Moneyball takes a niche subject and makes it incredibly appealing. That's no easy feat.
7. The Irishman
Kicking off in the 1950s, The Irishman follows a truck driver who gets involved with a crime family. Welcomed into it, he followed orders, kept secrets — and swayed history.

8. ROMA
An indigenous domestic worker's journey inspires this intimate yet universal portrait of family, memory and love. From Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón, ROMA follows a year in the life of a middle-class family's maid in Mexico City in the early 1970s.
