Madison Beer and Vanessa Hudgens launch skincare brand Know Beauty
Know Beauty includes cleansers, moisturisers and serums rooted in DNA personalisation.
Let's file this under "collabs we didn't know we needed". Vanessa Hudgens and Madison Beer have joined forces to drop their own skincare line called Know Beauty.
The gals also brought in dermatologist Karen Kagha to be the brand's chief medical officer.
This ain't no ordinary celeb beauty brand either. To take the trial and error out of skincare shopping, customers can take a quiz and a DNA test designed by Kagha to find the right products for them.
The test costs $95 and looks at 46 chromosomes and analyses 7 genetic categories. This is to help understand your skin sensitivity, elasticity, pigmentation and other factors that will narrow down which skincare will work best for you.
The line includes three cleansers, three moisturisers, three night serums, three face masks, three eye creams and a hydrating lip mask. The products contain proven skincare ingredients such as retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, peptides and more. You can sleep soundly wearing your night cream knowing that the products are Leaping Bunny certified and cruelty-free.
Most products sit within the US$20-$30 price range, which is pretty reasonable. If you want to give it a whirl, you can order a DNA test or purchase the products from the Know Beauty website right now.
While the collab may seem a little random, both women have experienced acne and other skincare struggles. Beer and Hudgens met through the latter's little sister and have bonded over skincare over the last few years.
Beer recently opened up about her skincare struggles in her Vogue Beauty Secrets video. If you want to peek her full skincare and beauty routine, we rounded up every product she uses (plus a few affordable dupes) for ya.
