The draw for the 2023 NRL Premiership is the biggest ever. It features 204 matches over 27 regular-season rounds.

It is also a longer NRL season, with round 1 kicking off on 2 March and going through until the grand final on 1 October.

The season kicks off with an Eels vs Storm blockbuster as the first match of 2023.

The Dolphins make their NRL debut as the 17th team in 2023. Teams will play 24 home-and-away matches and each team will also receive 3 byes throughout the regular season.

The format of 1 Thursday night game, 2 on Friday, 3 on Saturday and another 2 on Sunday features heavily yet again throughout 2023. On the odd occasion like ANZAC Day or other public holidays there are some Monday fixtures. In addition to the ANZAC Round, the Magic Round is back in 2023 as well, with all teams playing out of Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium.

Dates have also been locked in for State of Origin 2023, which will see the 3 State of Origin games all played on a Wednesday night for the first time since 2017.
