Foxtel has been known as the home of sports content in Australia for years. With more than 13 dedicated channels, many of which carry the Fox Sports name, Foxtel had become synonymous with gathering your mates and watching some sport.
Foxtel's dominance has extended to showing every single game of the NRL and AFL seasons live (except the grand finals). Its other major coup was securing the broadcast rights to all Australian cricket. This includes the BBL and every single Australian ODI and T20I. For most Aussie sports fans, this ended any competition Foxtel may have had.
Beyond these Aussie staples, NBA, F1, UFC, American football and so many more receive comprehensive coverage on Fox Sports.
There are a few options to subscribe to Foxtel and enjoy all of this content, ranging from the iQ box set-up and Foxtel Now.
Sport on Foxtel
The packages for sport on Foxtel vary. For the iQ range, you need to have the base Foxtel Plus pack for $70 a month. The Sports HD pack, which includes 4K sport, totals a hefty $100 a month.
Another option is Foxtel Now. Once more, you're forced into the base Essentials pack alongside the Sport pack, which bumps your subscription up to $54 a month.

The key takeaway though is that you can't get just a Fox Sports subscription through Foxtel. If your only entertainment need is sport, there's no Foxtel plan that gives it to you without forcing you into additional packages you have no use for.
However, there is a rather elegant solution to overcome this dilemma. To accommodate viewers who want sport, more sport and nothing but sport, it created Kayo Sports back in 2018, a dedicated sports streaming service.
Kayo shows everything that's on offer through Fox Sports and more in HD quality via the internet. That means like Foxtel Now, you'll need a broadband plan that can handle hours of sports streaming. In total, Kayo has over 50 sports available for your viewing pleasure. It's as close to complete coverage of the sporting world as you could reasonably expect. Additionally, Kayo exceeds the standard viewing experience from Foxtel with an array of special features. You can even watch Kayo in 4K with the Basic plan.

You can catch up on demand, or if you want to start watching an event that's already begun, you can either start from the beginning or jump in live. For watching live, an exciting feature is SplitView where you can watch up to 4 different sports or shows at once. Some sports also have interactive stats, alternate camera angles and RaceView.
