HBO’s original comedy Barry has been making waves ever since it was first announced. That’s mainly due to the fact that it’s directed and produced by Bill Hader, who also stars. He is a talented comedian and writer, best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, for which he has received 3 Emmy nominations. Hader also had roles in popular comedy movies like Trainwreck, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Inside Out, Finding Dory and more.

In Barry, Hader plays the titular character, a low-rent hitman from the Midwest who finds himself lonely and dissatisfied with his life. When he reluctantly travels to Los Angeles to execute a hit on an aspiring actor, Barry is intrigued by the acting world, so much so that he decides a career change might be in order. The show also stars Stephen Root, Sarah Goldberg, Glenn Fleshler, Anthony Carrigan and Henry Winkler.
