The Ashes are back in 2023 for the first time since the 2021/22 series in Australia, when an in-form Australia will look to take down a very aggressive English team.
Australia will be looking to capitalise on their recent World Test Championship win, while England have adapted a new style of play, as they look to take back the coveted urn.
When is The Ashes 2023 series?
The 5 Test England vs Australia Ashes series kicks off on Friday 16 June 2023 from 8pm AEST at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
The remaining 4 Tests start on 28 June at Lord's, 6 July at Headingley, 19 July at Old Trafford and 27 July at The Oval.
How to watch The Ashes 2023 live and free in Australia
The Ashes 2023 can only be seen on free-to-air broadcast TV on the 9 Network.
Its telecast of each day's play will start at 7.30pm AEST.
Depending on where you live in the country, you will be able to watch on either the main Channel 9 or multichannels 9Gem or 9Go.
In some cities such as Adelaide and Perth, you may have to switch between channels on certain days during the telecast.
