India has the second largest population in the world and cricket is the number 1 sport. There are lots of people from the subcontinent all across the globe, eager to watch cricket. Each country has different ways to watch India matches.
Luckily there are a few different streaming options in Australia. Some matches won't be available to watch live, but the majority are. You can catch India on both live stream and TV.

Kayo Sports has over 50 sports for you to choose from, including loads of cricket.
As Australia's first solely dedicated sports streaming service, Kayo isn't limited to what it can show. That's great news for Indian cricket fans as it's the most likely service to broadcast India matches. Kayo has all of Australia's cricket and the IPL.
Subscriptions to Kayo cost $25 and $35 a month for 1 and 2 simultaneous streams, respectively. For the extra $10 per month it gives you 1 more device to watch on and 4K. A 7-day free trial is available for new customers.
Kayo also has several different special features for viewers to use. For some games featuring India, there's even a Hindi commentary option.
There's also a Key Moments Timeline that skips ahead to the best bits, SplitView (watch 4 events at once), No Spoilers and Kayo Minis, which are a special condensed version of matches.
You can stream Kayo from almost any device. Watch from PCs/Macs, iOS and Android devices, Chromecast, Apple TV, PS4, PS5, Android TV and Telstra TV.
Foxtel iQ is the only way you can get sport in 4K quality. While that's awesome, the price is not, especially if you're only keen to watch India matches.
There's a huge catch with Foxtel that you can't just get the Sports HD pack, you must also have the base Foxtel Plus package.
So to just watch India cricket series you'd be paying $100 a month. However, you can just get the same channels on their own with Kayo. But if you wanted entertainment content with your subscription too, then you could look at getting Foxtel.
If you want to ditch a set-top box for streaming, but remain with Foxtel, then Foxtel Now could suit. Again there's that pesky issue of not solely being able to have the Sport pack. This time you need to combine it with the base Essentials pack for a total cost of $29 a month, which is at least cheaper than iQ. A 10-day free trial is available for new customers.
Foxtel Now can be watched from PCs/Macs, mobile devices, Chromecast/AirPlay, PS4, Telstra TV, Android TV and the Foxtel Now box.
Usually the only time you can watch India on free-to-air TV is if they're touring Australia or playing against Australia in a World Cup. A select few India matches from the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be shown shown live for free on Channel 9 and 9Now.
But given the fact that Australian cricket matches outside of Australia aren't shown on free-to-air TV except The Ashes, this shouldn't be a surprise that watching Indian cricket the same way would be similar.
