Boxing Day is one of the biggest shopping events of the year, however, it does fall on a public holiday.

To help you find out which stores will be open on the day, we've listed the opening hours of major Perth shopping centres below, so that you can make the most of the sales.

Trading Hours: 8am - 6pm

Westfield Carousel includes adidas, Bonds, Hype DC, David Jones, JD Sports and more.

Trading hours: 8am - 6pm

Westfield Whitford City

Westfield Whitford City includes Universal Store, Tarocash, Forever New, ALDI, Big W, Betts and more.

Trading hours: 8am - 6pm

Karrinyup Shopping Centre

Karrinyup Shopping Centre includes Big W, David Jones, General Pants Co., H&M, L'Occitane and more.

Claremont Quarter

Claremont Quarter includes Camilla and Marc, Aesop, Bailey Nelson, Nike, Mimco, MECCA Cosmetica and more.

Tips for shopping the Boxing Day Sales in Perth

If you'd like to make the most of the sales without getting into debt, here are some tips:

  • Create a budget. A budget is a great way to ensure that you don't overspend or impulse buy.
  • List the items you want to buy. Part of creating a budget is knowing what you want so you don't buy anything that you don't need. Look through your wardrobe and around your house and make a list of any items you need before you head out.
  • Get there early. Whether you're doing your shopping online or at a physical store, the earlier you are, the more choices you'll have. Always know what time the sale starts or when the doors will open and remember to allocate time to find parking if you're heading to a physical store.
  • Be familiar with the exchange and returns processes. To safeguard against any disappointment, double check the returns policy before committing to a purchase. In many cases sale items will not be eligible for return, so know if this is the case before you pay.
