Australian retailers are jumping the gun on Black Friday 2025, with The Good Guys rolling out significant early-bird discounts across kitchen appliances, home entertainment, and cleaning tech.

With Black Friday officially two weeks away, The Good Guys has joined the growing trend of retailers launching pre-event sales to capture eager shoppers before the main event. The early deals span multiple categories, with some standout savings that rival previous years' Black Friday pricing.

Kitchen appliances lead the charge

Coffee enthusiasts have particularly strong reasons to shop early this year. The premium Breville Oracle Touch espresso machine has been slashed by $601 to $2,398, while the Breville Dual Boiler sees a $111 reduction to $1,288. For Nespresso fans, the Creatista Plus in Smoked Hickory is down $251 to $648.
The air fryer category remains hot, with Ninja's popular 9.5 Litre DoubleStack XXXL models reduced by $61 to $288 (available in both black and white). Budget-conscious shoppers can snag the Tefal 8.3 Litre Dual Easy Fry Essential for just $179, saving $120.

Stand mixer devotees can pick up the KitchenAid Artisan in Cardamom for $678 (down $51), while the brand's 1.7L Matte Black Kettle is $188 after a $31 discount.

Audio gear gets cheaper

Audio enthusiasts will find worthwhile savings on portable speakers and earbuds. JBL's popular Charge 5 Bluetooth speaker drops $76 to $118, while the JBL Live Free 2 and Reflect Flow Pro Plus earbuds are both down to $99 with $100 discounts.
Skullcandy has also joined the early sale action, with the Hesh ANC headphones reduced by $80 to $119 and Rail TW earbuds available for just $68.

Premium vacuums see deep cuts

The vacuum category features some of the sale's most substantial dollar-value savings. Dyson's Gen5detect Absolute cordless model sees a massive $622 reduction to $877, making it one of the most significant discounts in the sale.
Robot vacuum shoppers can consider the Roborock Q7B+ at $395 (saving $204), or splurge on the premium Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller at $2,499.

Recovery tech discounted

Fitness recovery enthusiasts can save on Therabody's massage gun range, with the G5 Theragun Elite available for $375 and the G5 Prime (5th Generation) reduced by $51 to $298. The premium G6 Theragun Pro Plus sees a $47 discount to $648.

Should you wait for Black Friday?

While Black Friday proper is still two weeks away, these early deals match or exceed many previous years' Black Friday pricing. Retailers have increasingly spread Black Friday promotions across multiple weeks, meaning shoppers who wait may not see significantly better prices on November 28.

However, stock availability on popular items like air fryers and Dyson vacuums typically becomes an issue as Black Friday approaches. Early shoppers avoid the rush and secure guaranteed stock, though those willing to gamble may see additional flash sales on the day itself.

The Good Guys' early Black Friday deals are available now, both online and in-store, while stocks last.
